When we first developed Coach2Lead we quickly realized that a recording of each class module would be very useful even though the original modules were develop to be delivered “live” to audiences in a single location or spread out across the globe via webinar technology.

Knowing that busy corporate leaders might have to miss a live class or two during a full program, we wanted to capture the content so that participants could view the recorded content on their own time and stay current with their cohorts learning performance coaching.

It soon became obvious that recording the content had many other benefits beyond acting as a “make-up” opportunity for missed sessions. For many corporate audiences, it made more sense to ask participants to interact with the content on their own schedule at their own pace, saving precious time spent “live” in a group, either in a single location or remotely via technology, for practice and application. Thus was born the now preferred way to deliver Coach2Lead using the “flipped classroom” approach.

What is Flipped Classroom?

Organizations large and small are discovering the power of e-learning flipped classroom to address learners’ demand for any time, anywhere access to course content.

Busy executives embrace video because it engages them and personalizes their learning experiences. So, flipped instruction – the recorded lecture-first, group discussion-later approach to teaching – and blended learning – a mix of online and face-to-face interactions – are revolutionizing learning and development programs. The results are self-evident. Learner satisfaction and skill development increases- particularly with a skill like coaching that can best utilize precious face-to-face time with group practice, repeated performance, and systematic exercise.

Coach2Lead was built to help busy executives learn practical and crucial leadership skills in the most efficient manner possible.  Modern learning technology takes this to a whole new level, allowing busy leaders to view content on their own time and schedule. Our integrated e-learning system makes it easy for people to access our learning modules anytime, anywhere, on all standard devices. Our Learning Management System allows program sponsors and facilitators to track content viewing by participants, to ensure everyone is on-track with their learning commitments.

Teach Coach2Lead Live or Leverage E-Learning

The use of the flipped classroom approach is not required. Not all audiences are ready for this approach and there are many good reasons to deliver content in the tried-and-true live lecture format.

Coach2Lead includes both teaching options, live, and e-learning. The modular, blended learning approach of Coach2Lead offers almost unlimited delivery options- live or virtual, e-learning or traditional classroom.

Testimonials

We saw a marked increase in our team cohesion, which was critical given our organization was going through major changes.

-Managing Director and Program Participant

These sessions have been more robust and beneficial than other leadership development programs I’ve been through.

-AVP, Finance, Community Bank

We invested in teaching all of our leaders to become better coaches using the Coach2Lead program. We wanted to foster our culture and values that have made us successful with our clients for years. Many of our leaders have been with us for decades and they know and embody what we call The Anderson Way. While masters in their craft, they may not have had the communication and leadership skills needed to pass on their legacy to the next level and down to the front line. As employers, we felt responsible for investing in our team’s leadership and communications skills in a holistic way to set them up for success and get everyone on the same page. That is why we brought in this leadership development approach. Our leaders very quickly embraced the program, once they saw how practical and aligned it was with the way we have always done things here. Now, they can pass on their legacy and we all benefit from more employee engagement, retention of talent, and better results and performance.
