Performance Coaching is a Better Way to Lead if you Want to:

  • Deliver high-performance business results
  • Build deep employee engagement and a culture of accountability and ownership
  • Retain and develop top talent
  • Unleash innovation, teamwork, and collaboration

With changing customer demands, increased competition, and new generation of workers, you must create an environment where associates feel empowered to take action, take risks, and cooperate and collaborate with others to accomplish mission-critical objectives. This demands leaders transform from being a “Manager” to being a “Coach”.

Solve The #1 Challenge Facing Business Today: Managers Inability to Performance Coach

Coach2Lead was built to address the coaching gap facing large organizations. Precious few leaders and managers know how to coach and develop their people. After all, performance coaching is not taught in business schools and it remains one of the most misunderstood leadership skills. Yet, performance coaching is a learnable skill that can transform leaders and cultures. We shot this short video to explain how and why this crucial leadership skill is so transformative.

Coach2Lead is easily scalable across even the largest of organizations. After watching the video, we invite you to download this case study that explains how one global client was able to transform their corporate culture through coaching, from senior management to supervisory level across multiple locations and geographies, all delivered virtually and cost-effectively with minimum time investment and maximum results impact.

Creating a culture of performance coaching is the most impactful organizational initiative you will ever undertake.

Research Shows Three Times Greater Business Impact is Generated by Leaders Who use Performance Coaching and Who Develop Their Employees

Bersin by Deloitte, a leading research and consulting firm, found that senior leaders who coach and hold others accountable for coaching are three times more effective at producing improved business and talent results than those who do not. Specifically, the study found that:

  • Senior leaders frequently fail to model effective coaching. Only 11 percent of senior leaders regularly coach their employees.
  • Managers lack the necessary skills to coach their employees, and this presents the most severe challenge to effective management of employee performance. The research shows that organizations effective at teaching managers to coach deliver higher levels of employee productivity, employee engagement and financial performance.
  • At most organizations, there is a “disconnect” between the intended purpose of performance management and the reality. Companies want goal alignment, but more often focus entirely on performance appraisal. This is why the coaching element has such impact.

Don’t take our word for it; here are some quotes from senior leaders who have used Coach2Lead:

We invested in teaching all of our leaders to become better coaches using the Coach2Lead program. We wanted to foster our culture and values that have made us successful with our clients for years. Many of our leaders have been with us for decades and they know and embody what we call The Anderson Way. While masters in their craft, they may not have had the communication and leadership skills needed to pass on their legacy to the next level and down to the front line. As employers, we felt responsible for investing in our team’s leadership and communications skills in a holistic way to set them up for success and get everyone on the same page. That is why we brought in this leadership development approach. Our leaders very quickly embraced the program, once they saw how practical and aligned it was with the way we have always done things here. Now, they can pass on their legacy and we all benefit from more employee engagement, retention of talent, and better results and performance.
